Christina Wahldén (1965) is a Swedish author and journalist.

Wahldén worked at daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet for 25 years and during more than a decade she was a crime reporter focusing on violence against women, honor-related violence, and trafficking.

She made her debut in 1998 and has written more than 70 books for children and young adults to date. Her first book for an adult audience was published in 2004. She won the award for Best Swedish Crime Novel for Young Readers in 2018, and in 2020 she was shortlisted for the award for Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year.

Lessons in Ungentlemanly Warfare is the start of The Police Sisters Series, a historical suspense series featuring police sisters Svea Johansson and Rut Björklund, set on the island of Gotland in the 1940’s.

Lessons in Ungentlemanly Warfare will be published by HarperCollins Nordic in May 2023, and marks Christina Wahldén’s international debut.
