Deliver Me Highlighted in Sydsvenskan

Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan has listed the best suspense novels for the summer and one of them is Malin Persson Giolito’s Deliver Me. Here is what they had to say about it:

“Malin Persson Giolito has described it as the saddest book she’s ever written. Dogge and Billy grow up on opposite sides of the road – with hugely different opportunities. Together the two friends are dragged into criminality, with devastating consequences. Giolito wanted to portray the effects of gang violence, but she, at the same time, effectively reminds the reader that the awful crimes are sometimes committed by children.”

Deliver Me was published in Sweden on February 18th by Wahlström & Widstrand.
