Karolina Ramqvist Praised for Contribution to Swedish Radio

Swedish daily newspaper Göteborgsposten has listed the best previous episodes of Sommar i P1, the most prestigious individual long-format radio program in Sweden. Karolina Ramqvist’s episode from 1999 was highlighted as one of them. Here is what GP said about the episode:

“In the end of the 1990’s, Karolina Ramqvist was our coolest feminist and had just had a quarrel with Ulf Lundell. His songs were not played in her show, even though her mother had suggested it. She pokes at the image the adult world had of her, she discusses music and Jamaica with a distant voice, but above all there is a glimpse of the full-feathered storyteller she has become as an author.”
